The farmhouse is situated in a very peaceful location of the Dordogne just outside Lusignac, a beautiful little village with ancient church and lovely café/restaurant. 6 km distant from 2 villages, Verteillac and Saint Séverin, for simple shopping and 10 km from a little town called Ribérac with 2 large supermarkets as well as a large week market.

Excellent area for cycling and walking. Large possibility for daily trips e.g. to Périgueux, beautiful capital of the Dordogne with an ancient town centre with many special restaurants. Also the museum dedicated to the Dordogne is worth while visiting. Furthermore many trips can be made to various places of interest such as castles, Roman churches, famous caves etc. A trip to Bordeaux as well as the Atlantic coast is feasible. Also the famous Bordeaux wine area is to be advised e.g. Saint Emilion as well as the well known Bergerac area.
